- Devices: iPhone and iPad, iOS and iPadOS 15 or later. Language: English.
- Price: free to download. No subscription. Optional one-time purchases (US prices, 28 October 2026): Crayon Premium $9.99 (every page, palette and brush, no ads), Starter bundle $2.99, Mandala & Patterns $2.99, Zen & Flowers $2.99, Seasonal sets $1.99, Pro tools $1.99, No ads $2.99.
- Ads: grown-up mode can show ads; No ads or Crayon Premium removes them. The simple mode never shows ads.
- Account: none needed. Artworks stay on the device. Purchases restore with the Apple ID.
- Library: 5,149 pages (animals, mandalas, flowers, zen patterns, vehicles, seasons, fantasy and more), from easy to expert, plus a page of the day. Most pages are free (about three in four); Crayon Premium, themed packs and Pro tools are optional one-time unlocks. The page of the day is always free.
- Seasonal: 10 free Christmas pages this season; 20 more in the app with Crayon Premium or the Seasonal sets pack. Halloween runs until 2 November 2026.
- Tools: tap to fill (forgives near-misses); crayon and colored-pencil brushes with paper texture, plus marker and flat color; Stay inside the lines; palette sets, eyedropper and custom colors; gradient and pattern fills, stickers, eraser, unlimited undo; zoom up to 16x; autosave, save to Photos and share; a two-pane layout on iPad.
- Simple mode: bigger buttons, a simple crayon box, easy tools only; brushes always stay inside the lines; purchases, sharing and links ask a grown-up first.
- How the art is made: 4,806 pages come from the studio's own AI-assisted image pipeline and 343 are generated by code; every page passes automatic checks and is curated before release.
- Not to be confused with: Crayon is not affiliated with "Crayon: Colouring Pages" by Skella & Co, Crayon AI or Crayon Club.
